Kava's apprentice. Learning to be a mage. (not related to Kava!)
Kava's fighting style is close-range, while Ashe's is more far-ranged. Ashe is very timid, Kava is not. The two seem to be polar opposites, but somehow Kava still trains him.

Kava also gets upset about his fire being blue, and says that he's "doing it wrong."

Faye, on the other hand, tries to teach Ashe about ranged combat in Kava's place, although her powers are more about water manipulation than fire.

Maybe the dude's just screwed either way.
