Juno Eclipse is a high-standing member of the Black Carnival, a circus-themed cult of Ni'Hal. The Carnival believes in making a joyful joke out of their gradual return to oblivion, and their patron's arms. Thus they perform, entertain and get to mischief, not constrained by conventional taboo, laws or social norms.

Juno was once a regular performer within the Black Carnival, knowledgeable in light magic and stunning acrobatics, but otherwise just another performer in the cult. One day, during a performance-ritual, Ni'Hal entered Realspace right in the middle of it, grabbing and impregnating Juno while shattering the sanity of every other onlookers. Now she bears a spawn of his that takes a very, very, very long time to gestate. In the meantime, it boosts her powers, strengthens her communion with her patron and affected her biology in various unforeseen ways. Now she's regarded as a saint in the cult, and she enacts Ni'Hal's whim in the mortal world.
