Oh, it was such a beautiful castle, I was like it. And yes, poor Urvek, I was so hoping that he and Herinn would be alive, but in the end only Vlagg's cousin survived. I can also understand the lord, he's not the soulless dragon his son imagined him to be. He just has his own vision of Vlagg's life as heir to the clan.
And it's pretty sweet, he has to be tough for the good of his clan, but even so, he fears for the life of his son.... But Vlagg can be understood, right? Yes, you're right, but I still feel sorry for the lord. No matter how much of a dragon he is, he is first and foremost a father, and I'm sure he's worried about his son.
