A bit of lore behind Torakami's background, he lives in a world full of hybrid anthropomorphic folks. The city he lives in is called hyburg, a city that incorporates a mix of technology and nature together to power the city. His world also practices spiritual nature magic alongside very advanced technology in their daily lives, think Wakanda from Marvel's Black Panther.

The pendent he wears is actually a device fueled by nature spirit magic that was given to him by his late grandfather. The pendent gives him the ability to grow big or shrink, turn into other beings and let's him astral travel out of his body. There's only one of these pendents in existence and there's still many more secrets that he's still trying to figure out about his pendent while also trying to figure out why his grandfather left a pendent like this for him.

There's still more details I need to think of for Torakami's world but that's the basic background of him. Who knows, we might get to see other hybrid characters from his universe in the future.
