I'm uploading some of my old artwork currently. This piece is from 2022.
An old D&D character of mine, Brynhildur. She was once a full ancient red dragon, but long ago a party of adventurers sealed her away within one of them. She has been passed on from one person to the next throughout the ages, trying to keep her sealed away. I started the campaign as the most recent bearer, a young man named Luren who was treated poorly his whole life and lost his will to live. Brynhildur within him tried to instill confidence, and in doing so began to transform him back into her original form. Halfway through the campaign, she fully emerged, replacing Luren as the primary consciousness in their body, but was still kind to him. Much to those original adventurers' dismay, Brynhildur was never evil. She sought to rule over others because she believed she could protect them correctly. This is her halfway form, a humanoid dragoness.
I love the pose and the general idea of this, but I can't help but think the face and the wings are poorly done. The wings aren't helping a bunch and the face looks far too much like makeup and not an actual dragon face.
