Munich. November, 1970. Forty-three days have passed since the worldwide craze to find the Wonka Factory's five golden tickets began. It's a dull grey morning.


As the frenzy continues to enrapture the media and world, life still continues as usual for those caught up in the doldrum of work and day to day living.


A young woman is brought to the city on an assignment. Her company couldn't find anyone better to represent them, so she is sent by ferry and company car to drive into West Germany for a fortnight. Only six months since being employed, the job is stressful, and the pay only just about pays the bills.


The girl's been stressed, and although the abundance of Wonka Bars has been an easy indulgence to boost the endorphins, the presence of them everywhere these days has taken a considerable toll on her softening waistline. Still, she puts the mask of a sunny disposition and tries to be hopeful for the future.


It'll be a weight off both her mind and body for all this Wonka nonsense to be over with and out of her life for good. She's had enough of feeling blue.
