The Oracle, also known to many as the High Priestess, acts as the guardian to the unknown and sacred knowledge of the spiritual realm. She sits before a tapestry adorned with pomegranates, a symbol of abundance and fertility, behind which the spiritual realms lie. The tapestry hangs between two pillars, one black and one white, representing the nature of duality. All things have opposites, whether it be good and evil, man and woman, or Earth and the Ethereal. Though these may be opposites, they are not in opposition, and serve together to hold the veil. The Oracle is adorned in robes and wears the symbol of The Giraffe to reflect her attachment with its foresight and wisdom. In her paws a rolled up parchment partially concealed by her robes, showing her grasp on old partially lost knowledge. And her foot rests on a crescent, revealing her to be grounded in her femininity, the cycles of nature and time, as well as her understanding of the unknown represented by the moon.
