Today Dawn decided to cross another item off her summer bucket-list. One of her favorite places to take a swim has always been a quaint little lake near her cabin. Despite being fed with fresh stream water constantly by the surrounding waterfalls, the water within the lake was always quite calm by contrast. Perfect for a water-loving kitty to take a swim. During the colder seasons, most of the water either freezes over or becomes too cold for a comfortable swim, so she always likes to get the most out of the lake while the weather is warm enough to enjoy it properly.

Dawn always loved this place above all others because it always felt like her own secret magical getaway. Though it wasn't private property, it was far enough out-of-the-way with no easy roads or hiking trails to reach. You had to know the lake was here in order to find this spot. Dawn always enjoyed how comfortable she could feel knowing she could enjoy the water without the prying gaze of strangers in public.

She packed herself a lunch, put on her favorite bikini, and went to take one last swim of the season at her secret getaway. This particular day was quite a remarkable one. The waterfalls roared, their spray creating gorgeous rainbow colors in the air, the sun was perfectly warm to contrast the cool water on her fur. Heck, even the fish were being exceptionally friendly with her today -- one even let her pick it up.
