On his way home from dealing with a flighty monster, Breezer encounters a forest ranger. Montrose is a wapitaur. A powerful horse body with the torso of a humanoid elk from the waist up attached where the horse's neck and head would otherwise be.
These two are good friends and have worked together several times before. The forest Montrose helps manage is near Breezer's hometown. They share a few friendly words as they pass each other on their way home for the evening.
Montrose knows that despite Breezer's flashy, energetic combat magics, his first mastered spells were based on extinguishing fires, not causing them.
Breezer's magic induced spots and draconic eyes fade after a few hours. Though his bright hair only manifests while he is actively casting. He'll be back to his normal, solid-colored coat by bedtime.
