Here's a piece done for FurFright07 ( http://furfright.org/ ). FurFright's a growing convention, and as I hear from good friends, it's a great con with great people.

And now on to describing this piece.
It's holloween theme of course, and I dunno why, but when I imagine holloween in my head, I imagine the neighborhood kids cut loose from parents for the night to cause just a ton of mischief.
There was always an unofficial-unwritten-competition every year, to who could collect the most candy.
ryou is the prisoner, attempting to get in on all the commotion, and nab some candy for himself.
nekomon is the superhero flying with his skateboard, while the bear's distracted fighting off the prisoner, in attempt to steal some candy treasure.
tycoon is the lifegaurd with the huge whistle, getting away with his arm full of candy, holding his whistle down as he runs, so it doesn't smack him in the face when running. Scurrying away, dropping a few pieces here and there, but he's right behind his best companion, following up close.
Keto is the ninja....and BEING a ninja, he was the first to nab an arm-full of candy treasure stealthly, and dash off for safety. Even ninjas can drop a few pieces too, though. 
belicbear is the pirate, sitting on his HUGE sack of candy treasure. Midnight has struck, and as Belic prepares to claim victory for the biggest load, he soon realizes that Everybody's a Pirate by Midnight.______________________________________________
That's right Belic, we're all jacking your lollipops! ;3 *hint hint, catch the refrence* I'm sure Belic bagsnatched all that candy anyway. :P
The idea of kids running a muck on holloweend night, playfully ruling thr streets, treating candy like gold, just something as fun and silly and innocent as that really appeals to me.
Spent most of today working on this thing, and it took a lot longer than I thought it would. Oh well, it's complete, and I think it turned out decent.

juice. mmmm. Thanks a lot dude. :3 Colors are always crucial to me...for this kind of picture, it's not as easy as adding black to a color to get a darker shade, and adding just white to get a lighter shade....

haha, yeah it's usually GOOD when ANYBODY likes your art, esspecially the people who were drawn.
And Belic was able to get all the candy cause...he's a big chubby pirate bear, and big chubby pirate bears get what they fuckin WANT.....it was either motivation and fair door-to-door trick-or-treating....or bag-snatching...or both.
It makes no difference, cause it all equals out in the end as everyone begins to jack his candy.
RUNNING zombies are awesome...unforts, I wanted cute lookin characters, so I had to cancel out gorey bloody zombie costumes. ;3

Well yes that is very true always good when anyone likes your art but better when people the art was drawn of or for appreciate it too! :)
No I know Belic and it is more likely he mugged old ladies and ate small children to get their candy! LOL! :) Though bag snatching is possible, but they could chase him down, remeber he is a big bear and can't move fast.

Thanks for making my saturday! The world would be a sadder place without your art. I love this style of yours and the themes you draw. Your pallette is spectacular. I like the effect of cell shadding with gradients. I tried it once myself, but it was a dismal failure. BTW, I like your pron too, but I like this stuff better. Sometime we all need good clean cute :)
