Once but a simple fox, until the Seventh Circle of Hell came under the attack of the vampire virus, a result of the meddling of the Demon God Alucard. For his amusement.
Bitten and mutated, the agonizing pain of his old body sloughing off like a fleshy cocoon as his new wolf form stood tall, and the marker burning into his face, forever branding him as a vampire, an unnatural in the world of the demon

He works as a lawman in the Eighth Circle of Hell, but no one knows his secret: he's a vampire. Normally, vampires have red streaks that go from the top of their head to the tip of their nose, but he's found a way to hide it. Vampires also have distinct physical features: 10-11ft tall. Black, red eyes. But due to them being nearly wiped out for so long, and being isolated to the Seventh normally, people have since lost the knowledge to really identify vampires correctly

He's completely silent, due to the vampiric mutagen that made him what he is having mutated his vocal cords into a mass of writhing, bony hands. He can stretch his jaw open to let these hands out, and he can use them to grab, hold, or even crawl around like a demented spider
He eats people by holding them with these hands, then pulling them into his unhinged jaw and taking a chunk out of the upper torso with head included. He eats the rest, just slower after that initial bite. He usually goes after criminals, easy prey and already locked in the very cells he put them in
