y'all are focusing so much on the mammal thing despite it having no bearing on what I'm talking about. XD
Listen, I like her boobs a lot, too, but try to focus.
If Mora had an elephant trunk, wouldn't you think it's weird, or would you say "erm, she's not a cow, all primes are mammals"?

“y'all are focusing so much on the mammal thing”
No, we're not.
“how weird it is that Geeku, being a reptile, has long ears.” Is the thing you said. Your original points whole crux was that she is a thing, and we're telling you she is not the thing lol Gecko primes are not geckos. Real life cows have four tits, have huge noses, and don't have giant floppy ears. They are weird big titty alien people. She has the ears because in the lore she's a mammal. It's not complicated.

No, we'd say she's a hybrid. Because we actually read the material and know how the rules of this universe work lol Which is also why we keep bringing up that Geecku is a mammal.
With mammal traits. Like long ears. And breasts. You know. Mammaries. Because just because “gecko” is a part of the category doesn't make her an actual Gecko, she is a Gecko prime. Kind of like how Dale and Calypso, Shark Primes, are also mammal and thus have mammal ears lol
This would be more like if all the primes in Las Lindas had dry scales, were explicitly stated to be reptile people regardless of what species they're based on, and then you sat there and said how weird is it that the Cow/mammal Prime has scales. Like gee. I wonder what the replies are going to be lol

Tone shift.
The entire story started as an adorable "slice of farm life" story. It is only now getting into the more dramatic and action-packed tone.
Keeping the audience in the dark as much as the cast makes the tone shift hit harder.
Especially since the entire POINT of the "Secret War" is keeping it a secret.

And all of this just emphasizes a problem Las Lindas has long had: It doesn't know what kind of story it wants to be, nor who its audience is.
Also there's the fact that Chalo literally originally planned to end the comic years ago, so it's pretty much just dragging along with whatever comes to mind to make it seem like the most epic thing ever at this point.

Ah yes, because having been around long enough and paid enough attention to clown on the bad writing for a few minutes every week or two clearly means I'm a secret superfan. Yes, you've both brilliantly figured me out through your weird tsundere crack theories and Shakespeare quotes.
PS. Your strawman also sucks because guess what, you can like a character and still not like the greater thing they're from.

This isn't about the war though, this is about Mora's mom. You'd think at some point Geecku would have at least implied that she's been there before and/or talked about it to someone, especially since when she first showed up she was acting like a wild animal that's never been in that type of environment before. There's no logical reason for Geecku to not bring this up and it causes weird character discrepancies.
And of course her story and the whole point of it changed halfway through when the writers suddenly remembered their own lore. Cause they initially completely forgot that Geecku was one of the Crests born and raised on Earth. A planet destroyed and reformed over 200 years before the comic after about 1,000 years of the Primes living there in semi-hiding. So they hastily changed her story to be her and Minos looking for a new place to live after Earth's destruction rather than Prism's.
That mischievous grin in the last panel is why we all love Geecku so much.
Cute imagery aside, it looks like Mora's about to get some more lore bombs dropped on her head -- particularly regarding her father's side, if my hunch is accurate.
Also, Geecku mentioned that Mora's descended from her clan...does that make Geecku, technically, Mora's many-times-over-great-grandma, or would you say it's so distant by this point that it really doesn't mean much of anything? Well, that, and there's the fact that aspiring knights join the various clans, so there's plenty of new blood either way.
