That's about right. If he really wanted to attack, he wouldn't have bothered landing - he just would have flown over, covered the battlements with flame, and flown away - repeat as needed.

I was going to say the mage could have at least lit the candles since he started casting, then I saw they were already lit.

In our D&D games we have a similar courier service, the United Pixie Service. >:)

And yes, they wear little brown uniforms.
