Got crazy lucky and got to meet Michael Sinterniklaas last week, drew him a sketch and he liked it so much he took me up on my offer to draw him another.
His request? Dean Venture as Dr. Who.
I figured that Dean wouldn't have access to real cosplay material, so he'd just raid the compound for whatever he could find.
I don't know the first thing about Dr. Who, nor did I have references for anything on hand, but I'm pretty happy with it.
He liked it enough he wanted a picture taken of me with him and my pic (?). I'm not sure what MY ugly mug added to the photo, but I was fanstruck way hard.

That...is awesome...on top of awesome next to awesome. I actually know Michael Sinterniklaas best for his Dubbed Role for GaoGaiGar, was a really strong and well voiced Gai I think and really did his best to try to keep up with the JP VA for as long as the dub EP's went onwards.
As for the image that is just Golden, inclduing for someone who doesn't know much about said series at all. I think that version of K-9 might be more desirable in more peoples eyes just because it is indeed ridable...thought I sadly doubt would self destruct to save you doing that most valued moment...or maybe it still would, wouldn't put it past Dean to figure out a way to make a cardboard dummy explode.
Beyond that only real thin I could point out in this image is that the scanning job wasn't too kind to the left hand side as it ended up blurred out by quite a bit. The tracing around the cup taped for the neck too ends up REALLY thick compared towards the rest of the image as well, I guess this was a troubling element?

good eye. This is actually a photo taken on the floor of a hotel room at the con, this is the cleanest I could make it.
