On my Twitch channel, I've been streaming Mother 1 every so often.
This is the thumbnail I made for the YouTube Vods of those streams.
My main plan going into this was I wanted to make something similar to the Mother boxart, and I was going to stick to that red and gold colour palette throughout, besides the characters, which I have.
I initially was going to include the other 3 main characters, but quickly realised how cluttered that would make it. So instead I opted for a lil guy version of Pangys, as Ninten.
I'll use it in future thumbnails, but I made Ness and Lucas alternatives of him as well.
The trimming on the edges are actually the trimming around Giygas's capsule at the end of the game (spoilers. I guess). I liked the idea of adding it as a looming shadow kind of thing.
