Spottedsqueak
He was one of my favorite artists in this community, not to mention a pillar of the community itself. I don't know many into vore that would look at his art and go "I haven't seen that guy before", that's a kind of known that many artists wish to achieve, and he did it for years. His legacy will live on for a long time, I know it will, through his art and the many he inspired.
He was a massive inspiration for me on many aspects of how I draw, I probably wouldn't be the artist I am today without him. I just wish I had gotten to meet him, I got so close a couple times, and from how kind he was hearing others talk of their experience knowing him, it makes me all the more wishful. It feels melancholy to have my first fan art for Forest be a memoriam, a lot of things wished to be done differently. But the what if's aren't important anymore, what is important is to cherish the memories, and to those who knew him it seems to be ones of kindness and caring. That sounds like the legacy of a good man.

I too wish I had taken the time to reach out and interact with him. Seemed like an absolute joy to be with all the time and an all time legendary artist. You did so well depicting his style and likeness here. I almost thought Spotted himself drew this some time ago, at first! <3 <3

A very welcome memorial. Despite not knowing SpottedSqueak personally, it was nonetheless an emotional blow to see a like-minded soul with a good life ahead of him get cut so tragically short. From his friends' testimonies, he was a wonderful person, too. Too soon...

I completely missed the news. I followed him on Mastodon (gulp.cafe) he was one of my absolute fav artist and I enjoyed so much of his art. I didn't knew the person behind the artist, but still, it's hard.

to be honestly i did not know he died until to day and i only recently discovered him i occasionally saw commotions by him but it was like he fell of the face of the earth but i know why now... i dont know what to say even though i have seen this before, all i have to say is rest in peace
