You ever have those moments in life where you're trying something new, you aren't sure you'll like it but you give it a fair chance and then find out that it's way more fun than expected? or how about when you try something you've never done before and actually discover you have a natural talent for it? That ever happened to you? Cause that's what Lexi's experiencing here. After the visit to The Beach two months ago, Rose brought the husky to yet another popular place in town. A freaking rave! This also took a lot of convincing but eventually... she agreed!

Awkward as all hell, Lexi did her best to hide in the shadows of the dimly lit room. The music was loud, the lights were almost blinding, it was hot and every one was rubbing against each other. She wanted to leave but Rose made her stay, handing her a glow stick and... glowing drink. She gave it a cautious sip and actually liked the taste. It made her heart race a bit, a little lightheaded but the good kind. The more she drank, the less nervous she was. The music suddenly felt energizing. She opened up a bit, smiling at the people around her. Rose left for the bathroom a little after and came back to see her friend acting.... the complete opposite of her usual self! She was DANCING! She was actually dancing! And she was good at it too!

"What are you standing over there for?! Come on! Let's party!" She exclaimed, spinning around a pair of blue glowsticks she got from the entrance. Rose was shocked but wasted no time, waving her own green glow sticks, mostly in support of her introverted friend finally breaking out of her shell. She was a better dancer than the cat had thought and her tricks with the glow sticks was freaking stellar!

Rosie would have to make a note to bring Lexi to more raves in the future...

Another commission from  AngryContra! i love their artstyle and honestly think it's the perfect style for Lexi and Rose. I wanted to have something a little more nostalgic for these two. I grew up in the 2000's so things like nightcore and raves are nostalgic as hell for me so anytime I see stuff like this, I feel all happy inside. I wanted to have some art done of a good rave so of course I picked these two! Lexi (the husky on the left) is an introvert but seems like she's having the time of her life here. I especially love how she looks surprised at what she's doing. Doing something new for the first time and seeing it go well is such a fun feeling. It's like the best kind of high I think you can feel. Rose (the cat on the right) is in the background cheering her friend on. When someone's in the zone, best not to interrupt them, ya know? Man.... this is so good. I hope y'all like it as much as I do!
