Today's entry of Insectember brings is the Longan Lanternfly! These planthoppers are found in some parts of Southeast Asia, including China, India and Vietnam! Though they are considered invasive in Taiwan. They're well-known for their long proboscis that they use to burrow tiny holes into the longan trees they feed on to drink up the sap!
