I understand that the auction itself is technically still going on, but I mean, I can't be outbid because it's been 24 hours since my last bid, right?

Nah, you can't relax yet. Because till 19th of September there still might appear someone who will be able to beat your offer. The rule about 48H AFTER last bid is about bids that will appear on 19th of September.
