A birthday gift for  Forsaken-Starlette

Sao Linsun, a battle scarred veteran of the war in China, taking on her new role in life... future mother of two. Her mate, Darren Henson, with her in their new baby room overlooking the Los Angeles skyline. Sao is 6 months pregnant, but because she's carrying twins, she looks like she's almost at term with one.

The two met soon after her arrival to the US, while trying to find her way in the crowded LAX, Sao bumped into Darren as he was heading to clock out from his job (Delta Airlines mechanic). A few hours and large dinner later, Darren brought Sao to his appartment so that she would have a roof over her head while she looked for a job and place of her own. He never planned to mate with her, and certainly never planned for this. But, their actions created a bond that can only be severed by death, and he is proud to be the father of her twin daughters. This is especially true because he has no other family, his mother was killed in a drive-by shooting a year ago, but now he has a chance to start his own family.

Darren and Sao Henson both work at LAX, with Darren supervising repairs on Delta jets, while Sao works at a nearby restraint, and they are in full view of one another.
