Here I am with another celebrity - in my continuing 'photo-op' series for 'sweeps month' - this time in a picture taken back in 1991, when I'd attended "PhilCon" (a sci-fi/fantasy convention) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The person to my right (your left) is Mark E. Rogers, the creator/author/illustrator of the highly-popular "Samurai Cat" series of satirical stories, released by Tor. (Titles include "The Sword of Samurai Cat", "Samurai Cat in the Real World", and "Samurai Cat Goes to the Movies".) The anthropomorphic title character was created by Rogers back in the 1980s, and spawned both literature and art portfolios of the fighting feline.
His sense of humor obviously carried over into this unusual 'photo-op'!
