Well, that is certainly a very good start. You're right, there are plenty little flaws, but that's nothing a decent proofread can't fix. The story in itself, the pacing, the description, it's all looking very good. I would say; yes, if you have enough ideas for how to continue it, then by all means, continue it. It looks like a very interesting story
