Most dragons don't like thunderstorms, or lightning. They can be quite scary and for those who call themselves ruler of the sky, there are little things as frightening as getting hit by lightning or getting smashed against the ground because the winds during this storms get to rough.

And yet, some of us like this kind of weather, and then...there are some who actually are able to draw strength from lightning, or, to be precise, strength from the static charges in the air. Some are able to use this powers around them on purpose. And while my brother, Koranthal, just loves storms like this for the wild, untamed power of nature, others, like myself, are more interested in its possibility's. This tickling feeling in all my scales and frills when i feel the air charge up with so much energy, so much unused potential.

Ah yes, i can still hear him as i take to the sky, on my way, right into the center of the storm, to sit there and start my experiments. His warning, so fearful, concerned of my safety? He should know, like always, i know exactly what i am doing. And yet, still, i can remember his words clearly.
"For every aspect in this world, in all worlds, there are rules one must follow or the consequences will simply crush you. And just because your powers are capable to bend certain laws of nature, it does not mean you can simply break then without causing catastrophic problems, for you and your surroundings. But, since i know i cannot stop you, and honestly i'm not trying to, mark my words: expect unforeseeable consequences"



This artwork came out really nice. And yes, she is, just like Koranthal, she loves thunderstorms but that not all of it. Also i am not ashamed to admit, i just stole one quote from an video game which basically burnt itself into my gamer-mind ever since :D
