Today, September 13th, 2024, marks the anniversary of when I first joined DeviantArt and posted my first artwork: Cat Emoji Flapjack, since then, I've gained over 70 followers on the platform, I got over 40 favs on a single piece I made, and I've come a long way overall, even if it may not seem that impressive.

Over the months I've seen a couple of people's flattenings mimic my "literal flat style" (such as Unipuppy1234's many great toon arts) and they've made me very happy I've been able to reach so many people some way even if I myself didn't and they're more successful than me. You'd probably expect me to get upset for this because "oh they copied my artstyle so they suck!!!" or something, but I feel the opposite in this case, plus I never claimed ownership of the style, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (or rather, flattening in this case, haha, sorry bad pun) and I could never agree more.

Thanks for over a year of support, more is definitely to come, possibly including TF sheets (this is my first), also happy Friday the 13th I guess.
