"This morning I felt the first faint suggestion of autumn in a chilly breeze. Before long winter and snow will be upon us on the islands. In hindsight I feel foolish bemoaning the summer heat only to now sadden at it's coming departure. Regardless I will make good use of the last mild weeks of summer with my girls. Jada is at my side suggesting baby names... or something. I'm not really paying attention to be honest. If I have need of her simple woman-thoughts I will ask them of her. Goodbye summer, my dear old friend."
