The Beginning
It was a cold winter day when Fate stumbled upon Kayron’s den, finally getting some shelter from the biting air outside of the deep, deep cave. One could ask why Fate was out on a hike so deep in the mountains in the dead of winter; or why he entered the cave with massive claw marks decorating the stone floors; or why when he heard the heaving breaths of a massive beast deeper inside, he decided to walk deeper, rather than turn back and run. But the most prevalent question would be the most current one: why, as Fate stared up at the massive, powerful, threatening, red-scaled beast looming over him, instead of running the other way, he began to speak as his eyes grew wider and Kayron’s narrowed eyes grew closer. “H-hi, is this y—?”
In a flash of blue and red, Kayron’s jaws snapped up the bunny, who yelped in surprise as he was effortlessly lifted off the ground and tossed in place as Kayron carried him deeper into his cavern. The dragon would spend a few minutes toying with the bunny as the bunny kicked or protested here and there, blushing heavily with each pass of the slimy tongue, pretending this was exactly why he was here—until finally, Kayron tilted his head back with finality and swallowed hard, tongue shunting the bun deeper into his body. The lump slid down his long throat, before squeezing past the collarbone and vanishing behind those plates and scales, only to reappear as the smallest increase in volume on Kayron’s stomach as he let out a steamy, satisfied sigh.
The answer to all those questions were not only quite clear, but the same~.
