My mother had a big cutting board, and like a third of it snapped off. They were going to throw it away, but i got this sudden urge to craft something. So i took it and cut a handle into it, rounded the edges, and etched a pic of cheese into it.
Then burned in the etch to make it stand out.

There are mistakes, the tools i was using were rough. the jig saw almost broke my wrists, the router ripped the wood in half and i had to glue it back together, and the sander....well the sander did okay. Then i had to take this dull grinder tip and stuck it in a drill to try and etch it, that was hell. then i used a soldering gun to burn in the etch grooves.

Didn't turn out too bad i guess. but cripes. if i ever do that again i need better tools lol.
