In my school years I read writers like Arthur C. Clarke, Robert Heinlein and Ray Bradbury. When I wrote this story, I remembered the time when I read them and felt like a science fiction writer myself. Of course, I am far from those I listed.

I'm sure I'm neither the first nor the last to raise the topic of human-animal hybrids not only on FA but in the furry fandom in general. I plan to write more stories in this setting.

It's a pity that FA doesn't have a "Science Fiction" theme for submissions.
