Our art teach has challenged us all to design a cover for next year's student handbook.

By which I mean, she's made it an assignment. At the worst possible time, too, as my favorite brush pen broke beyond repair! So, this is done with a bamboo pen and an ink wash (with a shitty square brush). Thusly, disregard the sketchiness of the whole thing (namely, that scribbly mess of black next to his beak).

I shall report back with a complete 11x8.5 version...sometime.
