So uhh
My computer broke. :( I don't have access to my files at the moment, so y'all get pictures of some of the art I've made for fun over the last couple of years!
And for those last couple of years, I'd have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to go to my partner's house to be there with the kids and take them to school. They didn't go to school until 7:15 at the earliest, so it left me with an awkward amount of free time.
I started making these little paintings with Posca markers while getting a long, hot bath. :) It was nice!
Anywho, wish me luck in recovering my print and commission files! I'm going to try and set up a backup laptop for art in the meanwhile. Thanks for looking!
Edit: I don't know why photos always upload sideways from my phone. :( I'll try to fix it once I get the laptop set up.

I'm sorry to hear about your computer though. I hope it's not a drive failure so you can get your data back.
As for why it rotates, I think it probably has todo with EXIF orientation. Long story short is that reprocessing a jpeg file to actually move the pixels would cause quality loss, so there's a flag in the file that says that the image should be rotated. However, a lot of software, including FA, that just ignores the rotation and displays the image the way it's encoded.

My personal laptop is failing to boot my OS currently, so it's not COMPLETELY dead thankfully. I've been using it for the better part of a decade and it wasn't a particularly good one to begin with. (Low-end specs with a top-end screen for art. It's weird, but perfect for what I needed lol )
I do have my husband's laptop that I'm using as a back-up so I can at least do new work. ^^

We're hoping to do something like that, and if that doesn't work we have a few other things we plan to try. One of my metamore's partners is an IT specialist and has offered to help out with equipment and the like. :) But it may be a while yet before we can meet up.
