One of my longest running story lines (currently titled "Elehura") has a central team of heroes representing the various races of the world and each having an elemental theme. A little cliche, I know. The character races in the story have changed a lot over the years. I toyed around with an aquatic race called the kethil to fill the water-theme role, but that didn't get much further than a concept model (pictured in the lower right). Recently I developed the suyen race for the Sharpheart story, and I realized that the fins had a similarity to the kethil concept. So that inspired me that maybe the suyen can also star in Elehura. I then went through the process of applying a similar "paint job" as the kethil, and I think I may have found my new master of water.

I am currently going with the name Perel Kerrow, taken from a similar name for the character back when they were an akelian, which was basically a gray skinned gwil with hair.
