Another of my older works showing the charaters from my comicbook. The idea behind it as a race and I was experimenting with an arid landscape, as opposite to all the green enviroments I did up untill that point.

If I remember right, this was one of the first pieces I saw of yours, I really like the background and the pose of the running, looks to carry momentum well

thank you, though at the moment I'm concentrating on my comic, so it's unlikelly you'll see detailled standalone pics from me anytime soon, unless it's a comission that is.

Heh, interesting, wouldn't have imagined it looked like an oilpainting. Thanks. ANd yeah, used the ilustration from a dinosaur encyclopedia as ref for the background. I remember I lost a lot of time on it.

got some books with dinosaures as well .. just need to find the one that I kept looking each time in when being a kid at the library of the school ... it had so good illustrations in it

I saw mine in the window of a book shop, and I instantly wanted it, so I whent home got money and came back and bought the thing. It's preatty cool.

Now this is just great. You've got everything in this piece I look for. It's well drawn and well colored. You have feeling and motion rich in the characters. And then to top it all off, you have a sense of story laced in with everything else. Darn impressive. ^^

Used photos of cheetas as refs for the dragons' poses. And yeah the drawing had a somewhat mroe elaborate story behind it, but It was a long time ago and I don't remember it anymore.
