Next up is a pretty important city, Prasca!
It is said that Prasca was founded by The Golden Empress, the god of light, who first brought Humans together and created their society.
Although she guided the people of Prasca in it's infancy, The Golden Empress had little interest in ruling, and thus that task was bestowed upon the God-touched, people blessed by the gods and given a small part of their power. As such, the God-touched have become the de facto ruling class of the city and enjoy far more privilege within Prasca than anyone else, though on rare occasions it has been known for Unblessed people to gain positions of power as well.
The outskirts leading up to the plateau are mostly inhabited by Unblessed folk who enjoy the proximity to the lively city but prefer to avoid the more obnoxiously entitled among the God-touched.
Prasca is located on a grand plateau near the Wind Plains and right by a deep ravine and marshlands. It is undoubtedly the capital of faith, housing the self proclaimed first temples to each of the gods as well as a collection of divination pools that allow direct contact to the gods and glimpses of knowledge beyond mortal ken.
There is a clear sense of elitism within the city, with the most powerful God-touched residing in the Grand Palace, a place that is inaccessible to Unblessed who are often seen as lesser than by the more powerful within Prasca. This sense of elitism is not always matched outside of Prasca though and many God-touched clergy sent out to spread their faith across the land only learn this once they have reached their new residence.
The various temples to the gods, the Golden Chappel of the god of light and the God's Voice school of various religious studies are the main draw of Prasca for pilgrims.
Due to the size of the city, trade is also abundant, with many people coming to the Shining Bazaar to sell or purchase wares from all over the lands. This is in no small part due to the endless winds from the Wind Plains, allowing for efficient use of windmills to process grain from Goldenvale and otherwise power useful contraptions.
