Hope thinks using Toxic Spikes isn't gonna be of much help when the enemy can just fly throughout the whole fight, so the blue furred Beedrill instead begins by attacking Struggles with Pin Missile, as Passion at least temporarily makes the enemy stay in place by using spider string for Hope to hit him more easily. Meanwhile Mnemosyne attacks with Aqua Tail and Kawan goes for Petal Blizzard which thanks to Passion's luck ability, only the enemy gets hit by as it misses everyone else. That didn't look like it caused much damage at all, if there even was any, but right now there seems to be no better way than to keep going. The first attack Struggles uses against them is to send multiple gravity-defying waves of boiling blood, needing to be dodged by moving in various directions, including upwards. Hope now gives Swords Dance a try to increase her damage output while Passion just keeps using his webs to make it easier for his siblings to hit the personification of all my struggles, with Mnemosyne using Psychic while Kawan attacks with Play Rough. Struggles summons ropes around all of their necks to then pull up, but they thankfully manage to get their head out of there in time. For Hope's next move, she uses Venoshock, as the yellow Araneacian Passion still does his thing while the currently male Snivy-Celebi hybrid makes use of Pollen Puff as Kawan the Demon Shaymin attacks with Sweet Kiss, though that seems to have no effect.... and makes Kawan remark: "He tastes bitter. Really bitter."
Now the opposing sinister Beedrill summons that belly-mouth Celebi which itself immediately attacks with a spike tongue coming out of its belly-mouth. Hope quickly manages to conclude: "Deuterium taught us that a needle hit is the way to get rid of that thing... but also that my needles wouldn't be sharp enough for the real deal." "So we need Struggles to accidentally hit it instead.", Mnemosyne continues that thought, which Hope nods to. Everyone continues their own attacks against Struggles too though, after which Struggles makes clock-hand-shaped-stalactites fall down onto the battlefield, a whole bunch more compared to the Anxiety battle, all while the belly-mouth Celebi continues to attack too. If they wouldn't have someone as lucky as Passion on their side right now, they definitely would have gotten hit by now already. Though they still have to put in quite a lot of effort, the luck of just one of them alone doesn't make them invincible. They continue trying to damage the enemy but it still appears to be to no avail, with there still not being an obvious way to turn things around in this fight. At least when Struggles then attacks with his needle arms and stinger, they can manage to make him accidentally hit the belly-mouth Celebi, making that enemy cease to be part of the battle.
Struggles then makes a gigantic cross drop down onto the battlefield, with the group managing to avoid getting crushed by that, with it fading away afterwards. My offspring keeps trying to damage the sinister opponent, but there seems to be no progress at all. Things get even more unfair with the villain's next attack consisting of him causing anxiety to ALL his opponents throughout the remainder of the battle. That'll make fighting well a whole lot more difficult for them. After resisting more attempted damage against him, he then throws multiple axes all at once, aimed at each of the good guys for them to dodge. As they keep attacking him, Struggles tells them in a mocking tone: "You silly people, you really think luck is gonna make you keep fighting endlessly like this? Don't know you that... there is no escape from struggles? No luck in all of reality can help you stay safe from that for good. I always catch up. I'll always land hits eventually, it is truly unavoidable." With that, he then repeats the attack with the gravity-defying waves of boiling blood, though this time making it literally impossible to fully dodge, managing to hit and damage all four of the good guys in the process, except for Kawan as one of the Demon Shaymin's abilities gives him a resistance to fire and great heat in general. "See?", Struggles says with confidence, "I told you, there's no avoiding me for good."
"Well, we gotta at least try.", Mnemosyne responds before my offspring continues their attacks against the enemy who is then summoning ropes around their necks again. They can get out of that in time once again though. Attacks against Struggles persist being extremely ineffective. Now he summons another one of those belly-mouth Celebi, making for more to dodge for a bit again. And then of course come the clock-hand-shaped-stalactites dropping down onto them, though Struggles made it so that not all of the good guys can dodge all those, with the feeling of anxiety they all feel only making it more difficult to avoid the damage, as Mnemosyne ends up getting hit in the process. At least they can still manage to make Struggles then accidentally destroy the belly-mouth Celebi by himself with his own needle arms.
My offspring isn't giving up, still attempting to somehow cause damage to the enemy, especially since they can't figure out what else to possibly do than to just keep going. But Struggles remains effectively undamaged. He makes a gigantic cross drop down onto the battlefield again, but this time shifting where it lands shortly before it would hit the ground, so that despite the dodging attempt, Kawan gets hit and gets plenty of damage from how heavy it is, even if it fades away pretty much immediately afterwards due to the attack itself ending. "Good news is: We're getting somewhere.", Kawan remarks, "Bad thing is: What we're getting to seems to be our own defeat." "Let's keep hope.", Hope appropriately demands. "Not easy in a state of anxiety.", Mnemosyne points out to that.
Struggles is temporarily making all his opponents only see black, having to rely on hearing to dodge the enemy's attacking during this, before sight returns to normal, though this lasting longer compared to the Depression battle so that more attacks have to be dodged during this, and with how relentlessly Struggles goes about it, he manages to hit both Hope and Passion in the process. Seems like hits from the antagonist's attacks cause quite a lot of damage. After they unsuccessfully try to hurt him then, the sinister Beedrill makes his wings temporarily turn into snake-esque shadowy appendages to attack with. At least the good guys can dodge that. After easily taking more hits from them, he throws axes at them for them to dodge yet again. My offspring still isn't giving up but continues to cause no clear damage against the evil opponent whatsoever. And then Struggles goes for another ultimately impossible to avoid gravity-defying blood waves attack and while Kawan continues to be unbothered by that particular move, it does cause Mnemosyne to get defeated. "Three left to go.", Struggles remarks, grinning maliciously.
"Aaaahh my luck isn't working!", Passion complains, "This guy must be really powerful to just overwrite it at will when it becomes too much of a nuisance to him..." Nonetheless, the good guys keep attacking, no better choice available. The red eyed and red winged dark grey Beedrill goes for the rope summoning move once more, thankfully avoided by the´remaining three fighters with success. Their own attacks remain useless against the enemy. Struggles then summons yet another belly-mouth Celebi, unfairly so close to Kawan that the disturbing looking creature can then immediately defeat the Demon Shaymin with its long spiky tongue from its belly-mouth."I'm making progress.", Struggles continues to be mocking towards them, "How about you? Or are you still stuck where you were at the beginning of the battle, merely with more damage on yourselves and only half of you still left standing? Hehehe.... I told you... there is no winning against me. I am all of Hebi's struggles. I persist until the end of their miserable meaningless life." "It's not meaningless!", Hope shouts angrily in response but Struggles just laughs.
It may only be Hope and Passion left fighting at this point, but Passion still keeps helping his sister to land hits on the enemy, even with as futile as it appears to be. Struggles isn't impressed, making the stalactites rain down onto the battlefield once again and managing to defeat Hope with how impossible he makes it for her to fully dodge all of it. "And the only one left standing doesn't even have any damaging moves in his repertoire... This is simply delightful to me, hahaha..." At least Passion can use his spider string during the next turn to redirect the attack from Struggles to hit the belly-mouth Celebi again, so that it becomes a one against one battle. But not for long, since when Struggles makes Passion temporarily only see blackness, the sinister enemy manages to get the last standing fighter among the good guys defeated as well. With that, Struggles won this battle...
