"Kodak" for me reminds some stuff on World Trade Center

makes sense. Kodak is the biggest name in film in America and was very prominent in the 20th century with that carrying on thru 2001. Kodak pops up like that for Disney, a lot of movies, vacations and even just moments in daily life, its all tied together by how things overlap in people's perception. Such as if they shot photos at the WTC they can have Kodak lingering in their perception of that experience.

I feel conflicted about Kodak's new branding tbh, is it very bland but i also kinda like it? Idk. the old ektar 100 packaging was way better than what we now have, though.

its bad at being packaging. completely useless for identification or promotion. two random ass colors that tell you nothing with zero indication of anything about the item is just about the worst possible packaging. i guess the shades used are attractive but that means diddly squat without any other element to give it context. oh the words? you're a new film shooter, remember, you kinda know what a kodak is but ultramax is foreign to you. it looks like a box that might have some chapsticks or a bottle of aspirin in it at a pharmacy, which is where it is being sold of course. we really need to hold these lazy corporate dumbfucks to higher standards so they stop committing sales suicide because they can't seem to understand what their company is and does.
