Oh internet, you never fail to amuse me.

I happen to be fond of that movie myself, though I don't think many people are. But its poignant right up uptil the big action scene. That part I didn't like. As I get older, I seem to feel that action scenes are a way to tie up a movie that the writers don't know how to end properly. So they add chases and explosions and trap doors and out of control trains and whatever else they can think of to please the kiddies, and conveniently lay the bad guys out flat. But even that part wasn't wholly bad. My biggest beef may be that Caspar -- in the flesh -- is too old. The Caspar who is a ghost is young enough to call his toy train "Tooty," but the one who dances with Cat is obvioulsy around 13 or 14, and much too oldl. He should have been a head shorter than Cat and only around 8.

But the scenes were Caspar is spreadeagled over Cat, and where she pokes a finger through his ectoplasm and says it tingles, and where Caspar takes her up to the roof to view the full moon. Priceless stuff.
