I recently took a short trip to Gdańsk with friends. Here are some of the sights I saw around this incredible city!
Passing by this modern shopping centre in the north of Gdańsk, I initially didn't think much of this art piece as I headed for the entrance. Imagine my surprise when I did a double take, and saw a Welsh dragon carved into the side of it! In hindsight, I perhaps should have asked someone in the shopping centre what the reason was, but I like to let my imagination run wild. Maybe it's because native son Lech Wałęsa has the country's name in his own surname? Maybe the Celts had a go at setting up an outpost on the Baltic Sea? Who's to say? ^__^
