Hmm, it looks okay. But try putting the shine in the on the upper-left of the pupil. And maybe a smaller shine on the bottom-right of it too.

hmm, might want to bring the little white dot higher, unless of course the light is coming from bellow. The reflection should always come from wherever your lighting source is going to be.

you could put some orange in there. or just try it too see what the effect is, maybe...put like a orange outline. or something of that standpoint. its a nice eye.

its a good eye, but im a bit of an eye guy myself lol, just what i think you can do depending on what you are going for, but its a nice start!

(this is just what i do, so you dont have to take it seriously, but keep it in mind when you draw so you can see what i mean)

sonic: its good, just needs a darker color to the top and make it seem more in depth
anime/innocent eye: from this what i call base, i would widen it a bit and make it a bigger highlight in a corner, a smaller one in the opposite corner, same in depth shadeing
straight anime eyes: pretty much just give it a top of the eye and bottem and maybe make it rounded more twords a circle...

i hope this doesnt seem like a mean comment, im just trying to help out a fellow artist

The little shine should be placed on the right side or on the left side depending on where the light comes from, keep working
