I used "he" because I was referring to Jack, not the still unnamed woman inside (also she calls herself "Jack" when inside the suit, so very likely she treats her and the suit as two different people)

She didn't purged his mind just yet. She gave him two choices: either she wiped his mind of any magic knowledge and memories of ever doing it, or the thing being wiped would be the floor with him by Jack. The idiot thought "wait she's actually nice so I can simply trick her into thinking I gave up and she'd leave without purging my mind".

And well, her aura reading showing he was full of shit basically was like him choosing option two (aka Jack doing another type of cleanup).

The purging via force would have worked more either way the blood stains her hands too. Harder to wash it off that way, does make it fun for a form of character development. I remember an old quote. Sometimes to do the right thing you have be a bad person

I don't think she'll actually go as far to actually kill him though, by the way he's acting he's afraid enough now he'll accept getting his mind wiped now he knows she's actually for real with her threats (specially since Happy Jack doesn't really mind getting more brutal if necessary);

She gave him two options, he tried to come up with a third where he gets to keep his powers and they just have to take his word for it he won’t keep trying to be a magical assassin, after he tried to kill her. How he thought she wouldn’t fall back on the Jack option is beyond me. Then again, he clearly thinks he’s superior to those around him in intellect and power, probably thought they’d buy it

He doesn't really understand yet that Jack is another person. If you go back to the reference where we met Jack, sounds like a little split personality there. The operator - unnamed as far as I can remember - called the empty suit "Jack".

Note: Among the many powers and abilities Mink acquired in her discipline as a magic user, is "truth telling", it is extremely hard for anyone to lie to her. Can't have sympathy for this guy. He could have lived if he just let her erase his memory. The problem with villains like him, is that they latch onto any idea, no matter how small, to try and get their way. The Mink does good. But she also acts for the greater good. And that means taking out terrorists, rapists, and people who misuse magic. Why else would she be connected to people like Savage Squirrel.

Mink may not be a killer, but she’s not naive, and knows plenty of people who are happy to help.
