there are aspects of the '05 one i like more then then '11 one, and like wise the other way round. they are VERY different styles, but if the '05 was more polished, it would be JUST as good as the '11 one, which is pretty awesome. that just means even back then you had a whole bucket of talent, and now you have two.

I've gotta agree with this sentiment, too. The '05 one is almost as good, just not as refined. Although when it comes to the fabric, the '11 one is DEFINITELY better, both in terms of detail, and creativity. (Always loved that 'off-one-shoulder' look...)

oh no doubt, the clothing style is much improved, some times thats just as important as the character itself. (probably why people dont use clothing on this site? haha ;-p) but yes, its really nice to see improvement like that.
