The winner of a tournament between peasant youths, she was selected to be the squire of a noble knight at a young age. It's been the only life she's ever known, and it would not take long for her to gain the rank of knight soon after adulthood. Tragedy would strike, however: not a month after her promotion, her squad was sent on a diplomatic mission. They were ambushed on the way there. Attempts to negotiate and act with honor against their captors was met with violence, and the knights retaliated. Bronwen would be the only survivor.
She completed the diplomatic mission and was praised for her efforts, but the guilt of her survival has weighed heavily upon her. Garbing herself in a blank tabard, she left the order to seek personal redemption.
