(Oh I think I commented on this on Tumblr previously, but that place is murder to leave feedback on so I'm going to do it here too so it's easier to keep track of/more permanent.)
I just want to say again how gorgeous this piece is and that you should be super proud of it! I'm not familiar with your more recent characters, but I do want to comment on the scene and background especially in case you had any reservations about them. I adore the autumn atmosphere, and the details on the wet ground are just superb. The colour of the trees and the bright lights of the building being reflected make it look so realistic; you can vividly imagine that it rained earlier and the ground is still wet and shining. The warm colours of the lights alongside the hues of the autumn trees really give a sort of cozy and welcoming feel to the scene, even if the weather seems like it must be cold. It's a great atmosphere and I feel it really captures that vibe of an autumn evening.
In an element I'm only just noticing now after zooming in, the falling leaves are a great touch too! I appreciate the little black details and such you put on them. I like the little moths by the foreground lamp too - I almost missed seeing those! Anyway, it really feels like a lot of effort went into this piece as well as a lot of attention to detail, and I think it really paid off. :>

You did! I believe I was overwhelmed lmao. Typical for me.
I appreciate that a lot. Honestly, working on this was a reminder of how far I have to go. Which isn't a bad thing in particular, just... telling, of how I've been drawing these past few years. I hope that in due time I will be financially comfortable enough to start putting time aside to push myself to really improve again.
