Port town Tarilyle started out as an outpost established by the High Court of Avarus by a Siren of the same name. Due to conflict between the initial scouting parties and the leadership in Avarus and eventually interpersonal conflict within the scouting parties themselves, Tarilyle has become a pretty lawless free port.
Personal freedoms are what is most valued within the town and visitors often find that their status outside of Tarilyle means very little to the residents.
It is not surprising that as such, the god of trickery finds the most favour out of all the gods here.

Tarilyle is a colourfully cobbled together port town with many shanty buildings and high stacked dwellings linked together with rope bridges.
Despite it's lawlessness, or perhaps because of it, Tarilyle is the busiest port town in the lands. Many captains will gladly take this riskier option and pay a few bribes in exchange for greater potential profit overall.
Tarilyle is well known for all manner of unregulated trade activities but it is also known as a town of song by all who pass through, with entertainment in every bar or tavern and buskers in the streets and on the rooftops of the town.
Another thing that is less talked about is the fact that Tarilyle is the biggest source of durable, heavy duty fabrics. Most of these are used locally by shipbuilders for sails and ropes but a good portion is traded far and wide.
