>Reconnaissance has always been your least favorite duty. The boredom of sitting and waiting made your legs fidget as you kept up your delicate balancing act. Perching yourself on a billboard didn’t sound very ideal but thus far it possessed the best sightline to the penthouse window next door. It wasn’t like your target was going to spot you any time soon amid all the wine and poker games.
>You sighed, feeling your legs grow tired from squatting.
>[DEXTERITY] Take a stretch.
>[CRITICAL FAIL]
>You fail to notice lingering precipitation from an earlier light drizzle and soon your footing slips. Your heart stops as you are suddenly weightless in motion, you’re finally able cry out in surprise.
>Your voice hits an octave higher than normal. A tightening sensation accosts your waist area. Like really tight. *Too* tight.
>You’re hovering now like a kitten being held by the scruff of its neck. Though from the uncomfortable sensation, you’d wager you were being held up by something much more demeaning. Surely, you’re not *that* unlucky?
>Regret swirls around every thought in your mind as you’re met with the nightmarish sight of the single thread keeping you from an awkward hospital visit.
>Your undergarments already fought a losing battle keeping your decency intact. Now it had to do so with every bone in your body as well as it clung to a surprisingly sturdy light fixture. At least until you can get Sensei to return your calls.
>This was going to be an awkward trip home.
