I haven't uploaded in quite some time, here's a belt buckle I've made to show that I still exist.
This is made with very little forging, only a little on the front of the buckle to flatten it out and flare it out some so it's nice and rounded.
The rest of the work was done with a step drill to bore out the large hole, then a hack saw to make cuts on the inside that makes it easier to chisel the waste material out. I also drilled out a few holes for the slot behind the prong and chiseled the waste out. The rest of the shaping was done with files. The prong is the only entirely forged element.
