Chapter 28
Torpargatan (Near Hornstull)
Morgan Feres is sitting in his living room and he has his TV on. There is an entertainment show on right now but it's almost time for news. Morgan is the leader of a criminal gang called Krimkrams. They usually steal, sell drugs, commit major insurance fraud, murder people, counterfeit money and counterfeit securities. So they do most things that are illegal and Morgan has been the leader for over ten years and most of the gang likes him. This particular gang has so far managed to avoid being discovered by the police and that is because they have such strict rules. Morgan has total control over those who are in the gang and if there is a risk of them exposing the rest of the gang, Morgan kills them quickly.
As usual, Morgan has his cell phone on the coffee table so he can reach it quickly if he gets a message. The cell phone rings and Morgan takes it in his hand and reads the latest message.
"Jennifer is still causing trouble. There's a chance she'll expose the insurance fraud at Moa's villa. Should you or I deal with her?"
Morgan texts a reply and he sends the message when he's done.
"I'll fix the problem. Keep an eye on the insurance company and contact me right away if they seem suspicious."
Morgan sighs heavily and he isn't too surprised by the news that Jennifer is causing trouble. Jennifer is the newest member and she seemed all right when she joined the gang and the big problem is that Jennifer's husband works as a police officer and she is maybe too honest in some cases and that causes problems. It's only a matter of time before she accidentally betrays herself and Morgan isn't going to let that happen. Therefore, she must be killed as soon as possible. She's already been warned twice and Morgan isn't going to give her another chance.
The entertainment program ends and Morgan goes into the kitchen to get more coffee and he places his coffee cup on the coffee table as he returns to the living room. The news starts and Morgan sits and thinks about how to kill Jennifer in a way that means that there will be no fingerprints but at the same time that does not require weeks of planning but can be done quickly, preferably the same day. The newscaster begins to read out the day's news.
"The police are still looking for the man who placed several Alien eggs in the Kungsträdgården the previous day. We show here video from a surveillance camera and it is clearly visible when the man places the eggs. The police ask the relatives of the person to contact the police as soon as possible. It is rumored that the man placed 45 Alien eggs in the park"
Morgan leans forward on the sofa as he watches the film and hears what the newscaster is saying. Morgan has seen all the Alien movies and he immediately understands that this person must have retrieved the eggs from an Alien queen. Morgan looks at the footage showing Michael placing all the Alien eggs in the park and a plan begins to form in Morgan's head. These eggs leave no fingerprints and no gun is needed, just place an egg near a victim and boom Facehugged. If Jennifer is attacked by a facehugger, a Chestburster will soon spawn from her chest and she will die. Morgan thinks that he will get an Alien egg and invite Jennifer and trick her into the egg but the problem is that Morgan does not know where the Alien queen has her hive and he doesn´t know who is placing the eggs.
Morgan calls Lucas and asks him to watch the latest news from SVT. Lucas sits at his computer and reads the famous Swedish internet forum Flashback forum. Lucas looks to see if anyone has written anything about the fire in Moa's villa and if they are close to the truth about how it happened. There are many so-called hobby detectives on Flashback who often think outside the box and almost succeed in solving a case that the police fail to solve. If someone is too close to the truth, it is Lucas's job to provide false information and create effective fog curtains so that no one will understand the truth. This time, it concerns insurance in the amount of millions, so it is important that the crime is not discovered. But in this case, no one has succeeded in guessing how the fire started. Lucas, Morgan and Reine planned for several weeks so that the cause of the fire should not be obvious. Mobile chargers have been replaced, changes have been made to the villa's electrical central and much more. It has been possible because another company has done work in the villa but those jobs have not been electrical related. Reine and Lucas work at the company in question and they have been there when Moa and her family have been at their jobs.
Lucas opens a new tab on his browser and goes to SVT news. Lucas of course has VPN so it looks like he is in a different geographical location than where he is.
- I'm on the news page now. Was there any particular news that you thought of?
- Yes, the one about the Alien eggs in the Kungsträdgården. You should probably look at the one that was updated most recently.
Lucas finds several newscasts but he opens the one updated at 11 and it's the same segment Morgan saw on his TV. Morgan hears the sound of the newscaster reading the news and shows the footage of the person placing the Alien eggs. When the news segment is over, Lucas starts talking again.
- Okay, that was a bit unexpected actually. But I don't understand how it affects us. Can you explain?
- This person has obviously retrieved the eggs from an Alien queen. If we get in touch with this person, we can use this.
- How?
- Among other things, we can kill Jennifer without raising suspicions.

Reine lives on the sixth floor.
Reine is very surprised when he sees his own wooden cart on Michael's bike and he goes down to the bike room while talking to Lucas and the wooden cart is where it should be but it is full of transparent slime so he understands that the person at the group home has used his wooden cart without asking first. Lucas talks about Morgan's plan to contact this person and makes sure he shows where the Alien queen's hive is and Reine also thinks it sounds like a good idea and he makes a suggestion that the person get a lot of money from Morgan. Reine is aware that most people who live in group housing have strained finances and that can be used to the full in this case.
Reine suggests that the person should get 100,000 provided he shows or explains where the Alien queen's hive is and Lucas thinks it sounds a bit stingy with only 100,000 but of course he needs to hear what Morgan thinks. Morgan promises to call Morgan and discuss and then call Reine back but Reine wonders if Lucas and Morgan can't come to his apartment after they finish discussing and that sounds like a good idea too. Lucas starts to get ready to drive to the apartment building on Teresagatan while he calls Morgan.
- Morgan, I have good news for you. The person seen in the film from Kungsträdgården lives in a group accommodation in the same apartment building as Reine and guess what, it is Reine's wooden cart that the person has used.
- Group accommodation? Hmm. It can be difficult to talk to them sometimes. Did the person ask permission before using Reine's wooden cart?
- No, Reine didn't even know it had been used until he recognized it in the movie. Reine made a suggestion about how you and we can get this person to cooperate with us.
- Okay, how?

Michael and Sven have arrived at Sven's car and Michael looks around for traces of the Alien queen and her warriors. The alien queen's transparent drool glistens in the sunlight, and the mucus that came from her anus when she laid the first and last eggs remains and it also glistens in the bright sunlight. Michael resists the temptation to walk up to the slime and press his hands into it. Sven will surely find it inappropriate to do so.
The shattered egg is still where it landed and the shattered bodies of the Alien warriors remain where they ended up but the police car that the Alien queen attacked is no longer there. Several curious people stand and look at the shattered egg and the dead Alien warriors and several of the people photograph the egg and the dead Alien warriors.
Sven sits in the car and waits for Michael to sit down. Michael gets into the car and Sven drives off. Sven drives the shortest distance this time. Michael looks at Sven.
- Are you mad at me?
- Why would I be?
- I just thought you seemed a little irritated.
- Ah, I just want to come home and think in peace. We have met for a long time today and there are things I want to think about. I know a psychologist. Is it okay if I tell the psychologist a little about you? I think you need more psychological help.

Michael gets out of the car and closes the door and waves goodbye to Sven and Sven drives off, leaving Michael alone.

It is a worn Volvo and loud music is blaring from the car. After a while, two people get out of the car, but Michael has never seen these people before and he wonders who they are.
Michael starts to walk towards the front gate of the apartment building and at the same time he sees that the person standing near the front gate is approaching him and now MIchael recognizes the person even if he doesn't know who he is. They have met several times in the garbage room and in the stairs. Michael hears that the two people who got out of the parked car are approaching from behind and he gets the feeling that something is wrong, but suddenly one of the two men who come behind Michael starts talking.
- Excuse me, my name is Morgan and I would like to talk to you. I wish you no harm. I just want to talk to you.
Michael turns and looks at the two men.
- Are you a police officer?
- No, I'm certainly not.
- Okay, I have already been questioned today because of an incident.
- Sorry, but I think I know what the interrogation was about and I have a suggestion that you will surely like. What is your name?
- Erh, my name is Michael. What was the proposal that you wanted to talk about?
- I understand that the Alien eggs that you placed in the Kungsträdgården yesterday come from an Alien queen and we wonder where she is. We would like to buy the Alien queen from you, but of course you get to meet her anyway, but we own her in that case.
Morgan picks up his wallet and pulls out the money to give to Michael and holds it in his hand. Michael looks at Morgan almost amused.

Morgan shows the money to Michael so he can see that the sum is correct. Michael stands and hesitates. After all, he promised Sven not to do anything more stupid and Sven had definitely thought that this had been very stupid. But on the other hand, Michael is attracted by the money and he would have liked to have 20,000 in his pocket just like that.
- If I agree to the agreement, do I have protection from you?
Morgan takes out a paper with the gang's rules and holds it in his hand.

- Great, then it was finished. I thought like this. We buy the Alien Queen from you and you get a total of 500,000 for her. That's half a million. As I said before, you can continue to greet the Alien Queen but we will own her and have the greatest responsibility for her.
Michael stands for a few minutes, thinking about what Morgan is saying and whether it could mean any trouble for him. Maybe it's a good idea that someone else is owning the Alien Queen. It's a big responsibility and Michael is unsure if he can handle ruling the Alien Queen alone. So far it has worked well, but he doesn't know how long it will be like that. Michael also thinks that since several people have seen him leave the eggs in Kungsträdgården, it might be good for someone else to take over that job. Michael nods to himself.
- Okay, you are welcome to buy the Alien queen, but we have a small problem. I don't know where she is right now.
- Maybe she has a different hive?
- No, she has always had one hive but she left it a few hours ago. It is possible that she is moving towards Hammarby.
- Hammarby? Where did she have her hive then? Are there eggs left in there?
- She had her hive in the underground tunnel that starts at vfd Mariatorget. Her hive was under the Högatidsparken in Hornstull. When you get down into the underground tunnel, go left when the road splits into two intersections. Then keep going left until you come to another crossroads. Then go in there and go a few meters to the left and you will come to a large opening. There she had her hive.
Morgan writes some notes about the road on the paper that Michael just signed and he feels satisfied.

Reine walks up to Morgan and Lucas and greets Michael.

Morgan and Lucas look at Michael and Reine.
- Okay, you can handle yourself. Me and Lucas have to go and fix a number of things. By the way Michael, if you see the Alien Queen, call me on this number.
Morgan gives Michael a Post it note with a mobile number and Michel puts the money and the note in his trouser pockets.
- I will do that. Are you going to the Alien queen's old hive? Be careful not to open the eggs because then you will be attacked by the facehuggers.

Morgan and Lucas walk over to Morgan's car and leave the parking lot while Reine and Michael go to the bike room. Realizing he needs to get a cleaner, Reine asks Michael to stay in the bike room, which he does. When Reine comes back, they help each other clean the wooden cart properly and Michael thinks that Reine is really nice.
Michael come thinking of something that Sven talked about when they were sitting in the police room.
- Reine, do you know what a PredAlien is? Is it an Alien?

- But does it look like an Alien then?
- Yes, apart from the fact that it has braids on the back of the head and large mandibles around the jaw.
- Does the PredAlien have any special feature?
- Yes, it can vomit several Alien eggs down its victims' throats so that up to six Chestbursters are born at the same time.
- Huh? It gets tight in those people's chests.
- They are not born from there. They are born from the stomach. The PredAlien prefers pregnant women because the Chestburster eats the fetus and gets extra nutrition.
- How many times can a PredAlien vomit its eggs down a victim's throat? Does it have to wait until the eggs have formed in its body?
- No, it can attack humans in an entire ward and then move on to the next. It's like an Alien queen but without any egg sacs and such, and the eggs it vomits grow very quickly, like in a few minutes.
- It can therefore create new Alien monsters very quickly.
- Yes, but every monster it creates looks pretty much the same and it's not a "Pure" Alien so to speak but a sort of hybrid.
- I think I understand. Such a monster would quickly take over the city, right?
- Unless a Predator is chasing it. A PredAlien goes against every code of honor a Predator has. One of the Predator's rules is to never harm an innocent person but also to show mercy to those they hunt but the PredAlien does neither. It just reproduces and doesn't care about its victims more than the Chestbursters are born.
- If an Alien queen were to meet a PredAlien, what would happen?
- They would probably kill each other because they would both count as rivals since both can reproduce.
- Which of them would win such a fight?
- Hard to say, but I think the Alien queen is heavier than a PredAlien.
- Okay, I was just wondering.
Michael and Reine continue to clean the wooden cart and Reine takes a water hose and sprays water into the wooden cart so that the slime that has been washed can be rinsed but there is more slime under the first layer and they continue to scrub it away.
Morgan and Lucas drive to the underground tunnel at Mariatorget and they park right outside the entrance so they don't have to walk so far. They go down the tunnel and follow Michael's description as Morgan tells about a plan he has. Lucas thinks it's a very good plan and he thinks Morgan is a genius.
When Morgan and Lucas approach the Alien Queen's hive, they feel how incredibly hot it is in the tunnel and they understand why the Alien Queen left her hive.
The alien queen's old hive
It's even hotter where the Alien queen had her hive and Morgan and Lucas can barely be there because its so hot. Morgan sees many eggs that have melted into a dark brown goo but he concentrates on finding six Alien eggs that look okay and when he finds them he pulls them out of the hive and places them outside the hive entrance. Morgan sees that it is possible to drive the car down and park it just before the last intersection. Then he and Lucas only have to walk a few meters with the eggs.
Morgan looks at the destroyed egg sac and almost every egg that is close to the Ovipositor is completely destroyed and there are loads of dead facehuggers on the ground. Morgan picks up one of the dead facehuggers and studies it closely. He's never seen a real facehugger up close and it's not long before Morgan pushes his finger into the facehuggers elastic proboscis and he realizes that the eggs shoot out through it when they have chosen a victim. Morgan is fascinated by the proboscis being so elastic and he fantasizes about how it would feel to have it shoved down his own throat. Lucas walks over to Morgan and watches as he digs his fingers deeper into the proboscis and he gets irritated that Morgan is standing around playing now that they have a plan that needs to be followed. They have a few hours to complete their plan.
- Uh, can't you take that home with you and do it at home instead? We have a few times to fit if your idea is to work.
Morgan looks at Lucas and it looks like he thinks Lucas is being rude but then he takes his finger out of the facehuggers proboscis and lifts several facehuggers that are dead and he holds their long tails.
- You are absolutely right. I can do it at home. For once, I deepthroat the facehugger instead of the other way around.
- I saw that. Shall we put the six eggs in the tailgate?
- It's easiest that way, and besides, the eggs can't be seen through the car window. I hope they can handle lying down because they can't stand up if they are in the tailgate.
- It will be great. Shall we go to the car then?
- Yes, we are done here for so long. But i will return to collect more eggs.
The underground tunnel
Morgan and Lucas leave the Alien queen's hive and Morgan runs to get the car while Lucas stays behind guarding the six eggs. Lucas stands a good distance from the eggs just in case. When Morgan arrives at the car, he throws the seven dead face-slashers into the back seat of the car and drives down into the underground tunnel. When Morgan has parked as close to the hive as he can get, he sends a message to Reine.
"Bet on Solvallas V75 and choose the horses 1,3,5,7,9,11. Choose horse number 7 as the winner and then 1, 11, 9, 5,3. Hurry before they close the betting. Choose as high a bet as possible."
Morgan gets out of his car and opens the tailgate and he and Lucas help each other and put the large Alien eggs in the tailgate and it's just that they fit. Morgan is surprised that the eggs aren't as heavy as he thought they would be. There are bubbles from inside some of the eggs and they close the tailgate quickly before the eggs can open. When Morgan and Lucas have sat in the car, they look at each other.
- Well, then we drive to Solvalla.
Morgan nods and begins to drive out of the underground tunnel. When the car has come out of the tunnel, Morgan drives towards Solvalla while Lucas calls a special person who takes care of the horses that will compete and they make up a plan.
Teresagatan
Michael and Reine finish washing the wooden cart when Reine gets Morgan's message and he knows exactly what this is all about and he smiles thinking how much money they will make from this. Michael is curious about what the message says but Reine thinks it's better that Michael doesn't know about this plan even if he hadn't tried to stop it.
Michael and Reine leave the bike room and Michael walks towards the front gate of the apartment building while Reine walks towards the small kiosk in the block. Reine has also planned to buy some chips and other goodies for the evening. It's a bit more expensive in the kiosk, but Reine thinks he won't have time to make the betting if he drives to Pressbyrån, so it has to be the kiosk.

These eggs leave no fingerprints and no gun is needed, just place an egg near a victim and boom Facehugged. If Jennifer is attacked by a facehugger, a Chestburster will soon spawn from her chest and she will die. Morgan thinks that he will get an Alien egg and invite Jennifer and trick her into the egg but the problem is that Morgan does not know where the Alien queen has her hive and he doesn´t know who is placing the eggs.
Morgan calls Lucas and asks him to watch the latest news from SVT. Lucas sits at his computer and reads the famous Swedish internet forum Flashback forum. Lucas looks to see if anyone has written anything about the fire in Moa's villa and if they are close to the truth about how it happened. There are many so-called hobby detectives on Flashback who often think outside the box and almost succeed in solving a case that the police fail to solve. If someone is too close to the truth, it is Lucas's job to provide false information and create effective fog curtains so that no one will understand the truth. This time, it concerns insurance in the amount of millions, so it is important that the crime is not discovered. But in this case, no one has succeeded in guessing how the fire started. Lucas, Morgan and Reine planned for several weeks so that the cause of the fire should not be obvious. Mobile chargers have been replaced, changes have been made to the villa's electrical central and much more. It has been possible because another company has done work in the villa but those jobs have not been electrical related. Reine and Lucas work at the company in question and they have been there when Moa and her family have been at their jobs.
Lucas opens a new tab on his browser and goes to SVT news. Lucas of course has VPN so it looks like he is in a different geographical location than where he is.
- I'm on the news page now. Was there any particular news that you thought of?
- Yes, the one about the Alien eggs in the Kungsträdgården. You should probably look at the one that was updated most recently.
Lucas finds several newscasts but he opens the one updated at 11 and it's the same segment Morgan saw on his TV. Morgan hears the sound of the newscaster reading the news and shows the footage of the person placing the Alien eggs. When the news segment is over, Lucas starts talking again.
- Okay, that was a bit unexpected actually. But I don't understand how it affects us. Can you explain?
- This person has obviously retrieved the eggs from an Alien queen. If we get in touch with this person, we can use this.
- How?
- Among other things, we can kill Jennifer without raising suspicions.
- Well, I don't really understand.
- Imagine that we get hold of such an egg and make sure that Jennifer is attacked by a facehugger. When the Chestburster explodes from her chest, she dies, but she also becomes another victim of the Alien monsters, which means that the police do not put in extra resources to find out how she died.

Lucas watches the news report again and takes a closer look at the person and yes, he has seen this person but he doesn't know his name or exactly where he lives.

The call ends and Morgan goes out into the living room and watches the rest of the news, and its only the sports and the weather so Morgan have missed the rest of the news. Lucas calls Reine and asks him to watch the news report. Reine watches the news report and he recognizes Michael because he lives in the same apartment building as Michael but Reine is unsure of the name but he knows that this person lives in the group housing on the fourth floor. Reine lives on the sixth floor.
Reine is very surprised when he sees his own wooden cart on Michael's bike and he goes down to the bike room while talking to Lucas and the wooden cart is where it should be but it is full of transparent slime so he understands that the person at the group home has used his wooden cart without asking first. Lucas talks about Morgan's plan to contact this person and makes sure he shows where the Alien queen's hive is and Reine also thinks it sounds like a good idea and he makes a suggestion that the person get a lot of money from Morgan. Reine is aware that most people who live in group housing have strained finances and that can be used to the full in this case.
Reine suggests that the person should get 100,000 provided he shows or explains where the Alien queen's hive is and Lucas thinks it sounds a bit stingy with only 100,000 but of course he needs to hear what Morgan thinks. Morgan promises to call Morgan and discuss and then call Reine back but Reine wonders if Lucas and Morgan can't come to his apartment after they finish discussing and that sounds like a good idea too. Lucas starts to get ready to drive to the apartment building on Teresagatan while he calls Morgan.
- Morgan, I have good news for you. The person seen in the film from Kungsträdgården lives in a group accommodation in the same apartment building as Reine and guess what, it is Reine's wooden cart that the person has used.
- Group accommodation? Hmm. It can be difficult to talk to them sometimes. Did the person ask permission before using Reine's wooden cart?
- No, Reine didn't even know it had been used until he recognized it in the movie. Reine made a suggestion about how you and we can get this person to cooperate with us.
- Okay, how?
- By giving him a lot of money. Reine came up with a suggestion of 100,000 but I'm thinking around 250,000 or something.

Outside Lars Café (Near Essingen)
Michael and Sven have arrived at Sven's car and Michael looks around for traces of the Alien queen and her warriors. The alien queen's transparent drool glistens in the sunlight, and the mucus that came from her anus when she laid the first and last eggs remains and it also glistens in the bright sunlight. Michael resists the temptation to walk up to the slime and press his hands into it. Sven will surely find it inappropriate to do so.
The shattered egg is still where it landed and the shattered bodies of the Alien warriors remain where they ended up but the police car that the Alien queen attacked is no longer there. Several curious people stand and look at the shattered egg and the dead Alien warriors and several of the people photograph the egg and the dead Alien warriors.
Sven sits in the car and waits for Michael to sit down. Michael gets into the car and Sven drives off. Sven drives the shortest distance this time. Michael looks at Sven.
- Are you mad at me?
- Why would I be?
- I just thought you seemed a little irritated.
- Ah, I just want to come home and think in peace. We have met for a long time today and there are things I want to think about. I know a psychologist. Is it okay if I tell the psychologist a little about you? I think you need more psychological help.
- Is it about me placing the eggs?

Sven begins to approach Michael's residence and when he arrives, he parks right outside the front gate. Michael sees a man standing near the front gate and his first thought is that the person is a gangster because he looks like a gangster. Sven scratches his hair and turns to Michael.
- So, I'm not sure what day we will meet next week, but I think it will be Thursday, but it depends on my duties. I'm going to repaint two apartments in one of the tenements around here in the middle of the week and I'm not sure if I'll be done by Thursday afternoon. The best thing is that I call you on your mobile and decide when I know if I can stop early or even finish the job. Is that okay for you?
- Of course.
- What do you think we should do when we meet?
- Visit Skansen and Gröna lund. We didn't do that because of what happened on the ferry.

Michael gets out of the car and closes the door and waves goodbye to Sven and Sven drives off, leaving Michael alone.
Teresagatan
Michael stands at the empty parking lot for a few seconds, breathing the fresh air. A car comes driving at high speed and the driver parks right behind Michael. It is a worn Volvo and loud music is blaring from the car. After a while, two people get out of the car, but Michael has never seen these people before and he wonders who they are.
Michael starts to walk towards the front gate of the apartment building and at the same time he sees that the person standing near the front gate is approaching him and now MIchael recognizes the person even if he doesn't know who he is. They have met several times in the garbage room and in the stairs. Michael hears that the two people who got out of the parked car are approaching from behind and he gets the feeling that something is wrong, but suddenly one of the two men who come behind Michael starts talking.
- Excuse me, my name is Morgan and I would like to talk to you. I wish you no harm. I just want to talk to you.
Michael turns and looks at the two men.
- Are you a police officer?
- No, I'm certainly not.
- Okay, I have already been questioned today because of an incident.
- Sorry, but I think I know what the interrogation was about and I have a suggestion that you will surely like. What is your name?
- Erh, my name is Michael. What was the proposal that you wanted to talk about?
- I understand that the Alien eggs that you placed in the Kungsträdgården yesterday come from an Alien queen and we wonder where she is. We would like to buy the Alien queen from you, but of course you get to meet her anyway, but we own her in that case.
Morgan picks up his wallet and pulls out the money to give to Michael and holds it in his hand. Michael looks at Morgan almost amused.
- Wow, you tell me directly what you want. What do you want the Alien Queen for?
- This is secret so you must not tell anyone about this. Can I trust you not to pass on what I say?
- You can trust me. I also have secrets that no one else knows about.
- Okay, I'm the leader of a very large criminal gang. It doesn't matter what it's called, but we deal with many different things. Morgan shows the money to Michael so he can see that the sum is correct. Michael stands and hesitates. After all, he promised Sven not to do anything more stupid and Sven had definitely thought that this had been very stupid. But on the other hand, Michael is attracted by the money and he would have liked to have 20,000 in his pocket just like that.
- If I agree to the agreement, do I have protection from you?
Morgan takes out a paper with the gang's rules and holds it in his hand.
- Absolutely, as long as you don't expose us. You can read the rules here. Sign below the dotted line if you agree to the rules and agreement. I will tell you more about the agreement, but the most important thing is that you approve what is on the paper.
- Can I terminate the agreement if necessary

Michael writes his name under the dashed line, which means he accepts the rules. Michael gives the paper to Morgan and Morgan gives the money to Michael.
- Great, then it was finished. I thought like this. We buy the Alien Queen from you and you get a total of 500,000 for her. That's half a million. As I said before, you can continue to greet the Alien Queen but we will own her and have the greatest responsibility for her.
Michael stands for a few minutes, thinking about what Morgan is saying and whether it could mean any trouble for him. Maybe it's a good idea that someone else is owning the Alien Queen. It's a big responsibility and Michael is unsure if he can handle ruling the Alien Queen alone. So far it has worked well, but he doesn't know how long it will be like that. Michael also thinks that since several people have seen him leave the eggs in Kungsträdgården, it might be good for someone else to take over that job. Michael nods to himself.
- Okay, you are welcome to buy the Alien queen, but we have a small problem. I don't know where she is right now.
- Maybe she has a different hive?
- No, she has always had one hive but she left it a few hours ago. It is possible that she is moving towards Hammarby.
- Hammarby? Where did she have her hive then? Are there eggs left in there?
- She had her hive in the underground tunnel that starts at vfd Mariatorget. Her hive was under the Högatidsparken in Hornstull. When you get down into the underground tunnel, go left when the road splits into two intersections. Then keep going left until you come to another crossroads. Then go in there and go a few meters to the left and you will come to a large opening. There she had her hive.
Morgan writes some notes about the road on the paper that Michael just signed and he feels satisfied.
- Thank you. Your help is invaluable.
Reine walks up to Morgan and Lucas and greets Michael.
- Hey you. We have met in between. I live in the apartment building. I was so surprised when I saw the film from Kungsträdgården. It was my wooden cart that you used.
- Ah ok. I didn't know who it belonged to because it was unmarked. I hope it doesn't matter that I borrowed it.
- It's okay, but I thought you and I could help wash away all the mucus in it. I tend to transport items that shouldn't get dirty in it sometimes.
- I can help with that if you want.
Morgan and Lucas look at Michael and Reine.
- Okay, you can handle yourself. Me and Lucas have to go and fix a number of things. By the way Michael, if you see the Alien Queen, call me on this number.
Morgan gives Michael a Post it note with a mobile number and Michel puts the money and the note in his trouser pockets.
- I will do that. Are you going to the Alien queen's old hive? Be careful not to open the eggs because then you will be attacked by the facehuggers.
- We know. We will be as careful as we can.
Morgan and Lucas walk over to Morgan's car and leave the parking lot while Reine and Michael go to the bike room. Realizing he needs to get a cleaner, Reine asks Michael to stay in the bike room, which he does. When Reine comes back, they help each other clean the wooden cart properly and Michael thinks that Reine is really nice.
Michael come thinking of something that Sven talked about when they were sitting in the police room.
- Reine, do you know what a PredAlien is? Is it an Alien?
- Well, it is both a Predator but mostly an Alien.
- But does it look like an Alien then?
- Yes, apart from the fact that it has braids on the back of the head and large mandibles around the jaw.
- Does the PredAlien have any special feature?
- Yes, it can vomit several Alien eggs down its victims' throats so that up to six Chestbursters are born at the same time.
- Huh? It gets tight in those people's chests.
- They are not born from there. They are born from the stomach. The PredAlien prefers pregnant women because the Chestburster eats the fetus and gets extra nutrition.
- How many times can a PredAlien vomit its eggs down a victim's throat? Does it have to wait until the eggs have formed in its body?
- No, it can attack humans in an entire ward and then move on to the next. It's like an Alien queen but without any egg sacs and such, and the eggs it vomits grow very quickly, like in a few minutes.
- It can therefore create new Alien monsters very quickly.
- Yes, but every monster it creates looks pretty much the same and it's not a "Pure" Alien so to speak but a sort of hybrid.
- I think I understand. Such a monster would quickly take over the city, right?
- Unless a Predator is chasing it. A PredAlien goes against every code of honor a Predator has. One of the Predator's rules is to never harm an innocent person but also to show mercy to those they hunt but the PredAlien does neither. It just reproduces and doesn't care about its victims more than the Chestbursters are born.
- If an Alien queen were to meet a PredAlien, what would happen?
- They would probably kill each other because they would both count as rivals since both can reproduce.
- Which of them would win such a fight?
- Hard to say, but I think the Alien queen is heavier than a PredAlien.
- Okay, I was just wondering.
Michael and Reine continue to clean the wooden cart and Reine takes a water hose and sprays water into the wooden cart so that the slime that has been washed can be rinsed but there is more slime under the first layer and they continue to scrub it away.
Morgan and Lucas drive to the underground tunnel at Mariatorget and they park right outside the entrance so they don't have to walk so far. They go down the tunnel and follow Michael's description as Morgan tells about a plan he has. Lucas thinks it's a very good plan and he thinks Morgan is a genius.
When Morgan and Lucas approach the Alien Queen's hive, they feel how incredibly hot it is in the tunnel and they understand why the Alien Queen left her hive.
The alien queen's old hive
It's even hotter where the Alien queen had her hive and Morgan and Lucas can barely be there because its so hot. Morgan sees many eggs that have melted into a dark brown goo but he concentrates on finding six Alien eggs that look okay and when he finds them he pulls them out of the hive and places them outside the hive entrance. Morgan sees that it is possible to drive the car down and park it just before the last intersection. Then he and Lucas only have to walk a few meters with the eggs.
Morgan looks at the destroyed egg sac and almost every egg that is close to the Ovipositor is completely destroyed and there are loads of dead facehuggers on the ground. Morgan picks up one of the dead facehuggers and studies it closely. He's never seen a real facehugger up close and it's not long before Morgan pushes his finger into the facehuggers elastic proboscis and he realizes that the eggs shoot out through it when they have chosen a victim. Morgan is fascinated by the proboscis being so elastic and he fantasizes about how it would feel to have it shoved down his own throat. Lucas walks over to Morgan and watches as he digs his fingers deeper into the proboscis and he gets irritated that Morgan is standing around playing now that they have a plan that needs to be followed. They have a few hours to complete their plan.
- Uh, can't you take that home with you and do it at home instead? We have a few times to fit if your idea is to work.
Morgan looks at Lucas and it looks like he thinks Lucas is being rude but then he takes his finger out of the facehuggers proboscis and lifts several facehuggers that are dead and he holds their long tails.
- You are absolutely right. I can do it at home. For once, I deepthroat the facehugger instead of the other way around.
- I saw that. Shall we put the six eggs in the tailgate?
- It's easiest that way, and besides, the eggs can't be seen through the car window. I hope they can handle lying down because they can't stand up if they are in the tailgate.
- It will be great. Shall we go to the car then?
- Yes, we are done here for so long. But i will return to collect more eggs.
The underground tunnel
Morgan and Lucas leave the Alien queen's hive and Morgan runs to get the car while Lucas stays behind guarding the six eggs. Lucas stands a good distance from the eggs just in case. When Morgan arrives at the car, he throws the seven dead face-slashers into the back seat of the car and drives down into the underground tunnel. When Morgan has parked as close to the hive as he can get, he sends a message to Reine.
"Bet on Solvallas V75 and choose the horses 1,3,5,7,9,11. Choose horse number 7 as the winner and then 1, 11, 9, 5,3. Hurry before they close the betting. Choose as high a bet as possible."
Morgan gets out of his car and opens the tailgate and he and Lucas help each other and put the large Alien eggs in the tailgate and it's just that they fit. Morgan is surprised that the eggs aren't as heavy as he thought they would be. There are bubbles from inside some of the eggs and they close the tailgate quickly before the eggs can open. When Morgan and Lucas have sat in the car, they look at each other.
- Well, then we drive to Solvalla.
Morgan nods and begins to drive out of the underground tunnel. When the car has come out of the tunnel, Morgan drives towards Solvalla while Lucas calls a special person who takes care of the horses that will compete and they make up a plan.
Teresagatan
Michael and Reine finish washing the wooden cart when Reine gets Morgan's message and he knows exactly what this is all about and he smiles thinking how much money they will make from this. Michael is curious about what the message says but Reine thinks it's better that Michael doesn't know about this plan even if he hadn't tried to stop it.
Michael and Reine leave the bike room and Michael walks towards the front gate of the apartment building while Reine walks towards the small kiosk in the block. Reine has also planned to buy some chips and other goodies for the evening. It's a bit more expensive in the kiosk, but Reine thinks he won't have time to make the betting if he drives to Pressbyrån, so it has to be the kiosk.
