A commission done by as part of her Iron Artist project. A wonderfully done piece that I think adequately tells the story behind Necromancer Patch. (In other words, art is not mine. Characters are.)

Chatuluka Month Paki (Front) is a Necromancer. Probably one of the oldest of his kind. He started his life as a Spiritkin, the tribal anthropomorphic animals that inhabit the world. He was very attached to his sister Anju Paki (back) in particular and was very protective of her. His land was going through a tough time, a new disease was spreading across the land like wildfire. A plague that wiped out life and created barren twisted wasteland. If that weren't enough, beings claiming from being from another world comes to visit with plans to help them study and defeat this plague.

Anju got caught up with these otherworlders with Luka supporting her through it. Long story short, they discover the plague is a new magical energy dubbed Blight. One of the otherworlders takes his own agenda into account by ritually sacrificing Anju. Luka becomes a passionate speaker against the otherworlder's help while continuing research on Blight finally ending with him being possessed by the evil Shades that haunt the plane Blight comes from.

It's a story I've been wanting to write for awhile. The Shade takes the form of his sister in order to control his mind and make him do bad things. I dunno if I explained it clearly, but it made sense to me >_>;
