When most outsider speak of Torg or the Torgonaut warriors- more often than not they are unwittingly referring to the boomslangs. Boomslangers are elite and deadly warriors with a well-earned reputation. They are known for teleporting behind enemy lines to wreak havoc and destruction using high-impact magic that can lay waste to all but the heaviest fortifications. This high-risk/high-reward mentality gives boomslangs a very low life expectancy but the handful of elite veteran boomslangs are some of the most fearsome warriors on the continent and very respected and feared in Torgonese society.

Despite their legend, boomslangs are rarely seen outside of Torg itself. Boomslangs only enter foreign theaters of war when the Hegemony is ramping up regional combat efforts. When failure is not an option, you summon the boomslangs.
