Finally have a formal reference for this dude!

So yeah, this is Shred Zeppson; their lore has been expanded upon after weeks of research into Greek mythology, philosophical concepts, modern psychology, and where to get fursuit parts nowadays.

Shred is what is referred to as a Eudaimon*, a kind of benevolent guardian spirit that helps humanity. Originally, they dwelled in a higher plane of existence once theorized by the poet Hesiod, but several millennia and a botched ritual later, they now dwell on Earth, and their primary goal is to have a good time and help people solve their myriad issues. Their form is sort of an amalgamation of various animals they like; as such, they can shapeshift to some degree, but they prefer being in this form.

This character kind of marks a really important milestone in my life, which is the culmination of a lot of self discovery (for example, I learned that I probably am on the spectrum, which explains a lot). Plus it's just fun to draw a character that has little to no ties to an actual species; means I can just experiment with things I like.

Also, there will be a suit of this fella very soon! I plan to get it done by their birthday (gods willing), but ultimately I want this to be as stress-free as possible of an experience!

*The term Eudaimon is used in the word Eudaimonia, which refers to a state of good living, said by Aristotle to be the highest human good. It's also the Level 100 skill Sages get in Final Fantasy XIV.
