Forest ranger Montrose has spotted something dangerous. The fact that he's holding his ax at the same time he's shooting with a pistol indicates a surprise situation. All told, Montrose is out for blood. Not something you would normally see from an herbivorous species. Maybe his aggression/killer instinct is why he's a forest ranger in a sector known for animal kingdom hazards.
